Messenger
Connect a Facebook Page so your agent answers Messenger conversations.
Connect a Facebook Page and your agent will reply to its Messenger conversations. Messenger requires a plan that includes the Messenger channel feature.
Connect
Open the Messenger card on the agent's Channels page:
Click Connect with Facebook, approve access in the popup, and pick the Page you want from the list. FluentChat stores the Page's token and finishes the connection.
From your Meta app's Messenger settings, gather and paste:
- Page ID
- Page Access Token — with the
pages_messagingandpages_manage_metadatapermissions
Optionally set a Page name label. The token is masked and stored encrypted.
Once connected, the card shows the Page as Bound and inbound messages start routing to the agent.
Manage the connection
- Bot switch — turn automatic replies on or off.
- Disconnect — stop routing this Page to the agent; you can re-bind it later.
