Product catalog

Connect a Shopify or WooCommerce store so the agent can answer from your catalog and store policies.

Connecting a store gives your agent your product catalog and store policies as knowledge. Combined with the commerce actions, the same connection also powers cart and checkout. Store connections require a plan that includes the commerce feature.

How store connections work

A store is connected at the workspace level on the Stores page, then bound to an agent from that agent's Data sources. This lets several agents share one store connection while each stays independent.

Connect the store

On Stores → New, connect Shopify or WooCommerce (see the tabs below).

Bind it to your agent

On the agent's Data sources, choose your platform and select the store connection to use for this agent.

Sync the catalog

Products and policies sync into the agent's knowledge. Watch progress on the store detail page.

Connecting your platform

Enter your store's subdomain and approve the connection through Shopify. Your access is stored encrypted. Once connected, your catalog and policies (refund, shipping, privacy, terms) sync automatically and refresh when retrained.

Connect in one of two ways:

  • Authorize — enter your store URL and approve the connection on your WordPress admin (requires WordPress 4.4+ over HTTPS).
  • Paste API keys — enter your store URL and a WooCommerce consumer key and secret.

To take payments through the agent, also install the FluentChat Checkout Bridge WordPress plugin and paste its pairing token in the store's settings — this is what lets the agent create real checkout links. See Commerce actions.

The Stores page

Stores lists your workspace's connections with each store's name, platform, currency, active conversations, and status. Open a store to sync now, review sync history, and (for WooCommerce) manage the checkout-bridge pairing token.

The Products page

Products is a read-only browser of everything synced from your connected stores — product, vendor, status, and last-synced time — with a store filter and a usage bar for your catalog allowance. Sync stops when you reach your plan's product limits; already-synced products stay searchable.

Connecting a store as a data source lets the agent answer about products. To let it sell — add to cart, collect an address, create a checkout — also install the matching commerce action pack.
